Stratford-upon-Avon & Warwick Castle – a classic English sightseeing tour.

We start our tour with the culture and history of Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon. Then we take you to the medieval splendour that is Warwick Castle. With expert commentary by your own Blue Badge Guide and all entrances included in the price, this tour is “Ye Olde England” at it's finest.

Stratford-upon-Avon

Shakespeares Birthplace, Stratford-upon-Avon Set in the beautiful countryside of Warwickshire, on the banks of the River Avon, Stratford is one of Britain's major tourist destinations. We'll take a walking tour and visit the birthplace of William Shakespeare. You'll then be free to explore this charming market town with its quaint shops, restaurants and cafes.

Warwick Castle

Then it's the short drive to the dramatic medieval castle at Warwick. With 1000 years worth of battles, banquets, torture and celebrations, there is great deal to see and do at Warwick Castle. Climb the tower or visit the dungeons. Get a feel of what it was like to be a lord or a knight, a servant or a prisoner. This is a wonderful castle experience, and is especially fun for children.

After all this you'll probably want a nice sleep on the journey back to London!

As with all Oakwood Tours we will pick you up from your own hotel and return you there at the end of the day. You will not have to share the tour with any other parties and you will have the dedicated attention of your Blue Badge Guide for the whole day.
